With over 20 years of experience leading groups, teaching, coaching, and mentoring, I support people in navigating their lives with greater trust, clarity, and purpose.

My work focuses on uncovering the root causes of stress and anxiety, building resilience, and nurturing meaningful relationships. Clients often speak to the sense of safety and compassion we create together. A space where real change can unfold.

Drawing on neuroscience, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, and trauma-informed stress release, I support clients in moving through challenges, restoring balance, and cultivating well-being. My work is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and discover more ease and possibility.

My path has been shaped by both lived experience and ongoing study, guided by a deep curiosity about the relationship between body, mind, and spirit. I grew up on the coast of Rhode Island, where my connection to nature began. After a near-death accident in my youth, I instinctively turned to embodiment practices, wisdom traditions, and the creative arts as a way back to safety and meaning. I found Havening to be a gentle and effective technique to help clients build resilience and compassionately heal.

Yoga and Insight Meditation have been a foundation of my own practice for deeper integration since the 90s. As a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher, I love bringing this gift of well-being to others.

As a young mother, I moved to California and immersed myself in Montessori early childhood education, which sparked a lifelong dedication to holistic, whole-person learning. In 2002, after a year of international travel, I settled in Denmark and led the development of the country’s first bachelor’s degree in Animation. For more than a decade, I supported hundreds of artists in finding their creative voices and guided diverse teams through complex, evolving environments.

Over time, a quiet inner calling emerged—one that led me back to the body and the unseen. This journey deepened my study of neuroscience, IFS, somatic and shamanic practices, trauma and resilience work, and developmental frameworks including archetypes, the Enneagram, and Human Design.

In 2021, I founded Your Unfolding Self—a space to explore your inner landscape with curiosity, compassion, and courage, and to move forward with a greater sense of wholeness and well-being.

I believe each of us carries a unique gift, often hidden beneath who we were taught to be. My work invites you to slow down, listen within, and allow life to unfold through you.

I look forward to meeting you.

A gentle and powerful this method

“My work with Michelle was just what I needed! I was able to release stuck emotions that had been weighing on me heavily. I love how simultaneously gentle and powerful this method is, and how safe, held, and deeply nourished I felt by Michelle’s insightful intuition, pacing, and loving presence.”

A powerful and transformative tool of self-kindness in my daily life.

“I came to Michelle seeking help for stress related anxiety. Indeed, her support enabled me to put my angst to rest and connect with my body and consciousness anew. Over the course of our journey, I have found well-being and balance. For me, Havening has been an anchor when gently processing trauma and problems; but most importantly, it has become a powerful and transformative tool of self-kindness in my daily life.”

Havening - a precious resource

“Michelle made me feel so comfortable and relaxed that when we came to work with my trauma I was able to ‘really go there’ – feel what needed to be felt and express what needed to be expressed. I’ve been using the Havening Techniques ever since to self-soothe. I feel more calm and reassured that I can ‘bring myself back’ when I need to, and if I can’t do it alone I can ask Michelle to facilitate another session for me. What a precious resource this is in life! I highly recommend Michelle to anyone who wants to work on their unresolved trauma, to feel more safe and confident to enjoy life.”
